They can be modified just like Holley's.
Many say they are easier than Holey's to re tune.

Good to know, I think I have solved the problem but not 100% till I get it running and see if I have enough clearance for air between the carb and the breather lid, right now I have about an inch all around.

Getting ready to purchase a driveshaft with 1350 joints, anyone have a preference as far as where to get one?

I am looking for the same thing, wanted a QA1 carbon fiber one, but after seeing the price decided against it.

WOW, $1500 I guess I won't be going that route because by the time I get it in the garage here in Canada it would be $2500. I was thinking somewhere around $5/600.

a quick Google search shows them running from $600  - $1500 depending on application. I looked for one for my Cuda and I remember it being like $1300. Nice but not that nice.

I've had these guys build me a driveshaft on other projects in the past with no complaints! I just called with my measurements, they supplied the yoke and u-joints. I had it a couple days later , came in a H/D cardboard tube.

It was 7-8 years ago $300ish?  :dunno:  Lots of local circle track racers use them too, that's how I found them.

Dr. Diff sells 1350 driveshafts for, if I remember right, $350usd. Last I talked to Cass about it was about a year ago. I didn't buy one though.

Dodj, I looked on dr diff' website but didn't see any? I guess I could e mail him. My Dana 60 from him was really nice and came with some upgrade ideas thanks to Brad.

I won't be drag racing the car but will stand on it a little once and a while, so I wanted something I would not have to worry about.

Well got the driveshaft thing figured out, company in London Ontario is going to build me one for $400.

On another note I am pulling my hair out trying to stop brake line leaks, not stainless just mild steel lines but I have changed the rear lines twice. so now I have bought a new distribution block on the rear end and new lines the right length so I did not have to flare them myself thinking I must be doing something wrong but I have flared lines forever with no problems. anyone have this issue?

I hope you are using double flares and what it really comes down to is the tool used to make them. I have been in your situation and I basically threw out the old tool cause it was hit or miss and the new one does wonders every time!
