hey thanks for the info alan, i am going to be running a hydroboost system, alterkation and disks all around i should probably call finelines and tell them what im using cause im not sure if i need a porportioning valve and if so what kind (factory ) or something different?. and not sure if their stuff will match what im doing or is it better to buy the material and run my own. thx  bruce

peterro, love the purple and white looks awesome. did your stainless finally stop leaking?

Thanks. They've mostly stopped. I'm still fighting with the MC a bit. It's a modern unit with plastic reservoir and seems to seep from the top. I think it's from the rear being adjusted too loose. I've readjusted the rear but haven't driven it at all yet this year.

I've always hated working on brake plumbing/bleeding so I'm sure it's partly my own issue.

yeah i hear ya, im just wondering now if i buy a kit probably some of it will not work so may have to buy piece by piece and make my own where i need. I have the benders and flaring tool. I wonder if the O.E lines could be clear coated or something to keep them nice?  thx bruce

With the amount we drive the cars (IE: no rain no snow) the OE lines stay pretty nice looking, I've never put stainless on my own cars....but I've had leak issues with stainless on customer's cars.

yeah i guess your right alan, it will be either out on a sunny day or in the heated garage so probably stay nice for quite sometime and no leaks which is what we are all after. have you ever done one with the hydroboost and 4 wheel disks? like i said earlier probably only a few factory lines would fit and would have to do the rest myself im thinking. thx again

I haven't done a hydroboost system, but I have done 4 wheel discs. On the rear end I just shorten a pair of Fine Lines and added flex hoses...

well never got a chance to look at the satelite, but did take the wifes truck to the fleetwood classic in london ontario. steve plunket is the guys name that has the show apparently his old man invented the ingredient that makes" the pill work",so lots of cash. he has quite a stable of 20s/30/40 caddies. about 3000 cars there of all makes and models, seen a beautiful white 65 satelite there, makes me want a 63 to 65 plymouth.   bruce

Bruce,
Those rims look killer,  :bigshades: What brand is that ? ( Cragar ? )

I have a buddy that runs that rim on his B body, and it looks really sharp.
I put a pic below of his car when we were racing at Norwalk last year,,,He even made the cover of MCG,,,,note he is on ONE tire,,,,huge wheel stand which he was not anticipating. !! Shook him up a bit,, lol.. ( sorry the pic is so big,,, )

ps, still have the 65', price is dropping monthly,,,lol  ( only raced it once this year )  My 70 Challenger project is taking all my time.

Your car looks great !

Doug :drunk:
