sorry forgot to mention the sizes if that matters, the wheels are 15x12s & 15x8s. tires are 29x15x15.5 and 27x15x10.5s. the reason I have such a wide front is that I think the 26" tires on the front of these cars along with the challengers look to small (to me any way's). although I did look at quite a few challengers at the last car show I was at and for some reason they look ok!, maybe it's because my challenger is still sitting in the garage not complete, maybe once its sitting complete it may look ok not sure.  Bruce

Bruce,
Those rims look killer,  :bigshades: What brand is that ? ( Cragar ? )

I have a buddy that runs that rim on his B body, and it looks really sharp.
I put a pic below of his car when we were racing at Norwalk last year,,,,,note he is on ONE tire,,,,huge wheel stand which he was not anticipating.

ps, still have the 65', price is dropping monthly,,,lol  ( only raced it once this year )  My 70 Challenger project is taking all my time.

Your car looks great !

Doug :drunk:

hey doug, the rims are billet specialties, your killing me with 65 lol, I seen one last month at a show I am still doing some dealing to make it happen.   bruce

I hope you find a 64-65. They are cool cars, and I'm sure you will make it nice by the looks of your Challenger. Good luck.

well installed the hydro-boost and prop-valve kit, went pretty well valve body was just touching the inner fender so I had to do a little tweek and now have about 1/8" clearance and think I will turn the top cover around now that I looked at the pics.  thx bruce

Last summer at Carlisle my buddy Darcy needed a bench seat for his 68 RR found one for $400. They are hard to find and pricey when you do find one.
There's a complete rear seat for a 68-69 B body on the Detroit craigslist. Just search on mopar. $150.00

well just a little update on the challenger progress, I bought a quick time bell housing with block plate, 18 spline McLeod twin disk & flywheel package and a 18 spline 4-speed, I will change out the 4 for 5 speed when my number comes up and use the 4-speed in the roadrunner. That's one more big piece of the puzzle .now just the alterkation and then install it all, spring will be here before I know it.  thx Bruce

P.S the Canadian dollar is killing me right now lol
