« on: March 15, 2013 - 06:53:54 PM »
A new book has just come out - a thriller called Torque, by Glenn Muller. The good guy is a driving instructor and weekend racer who drives a 1970 Hemi Challenger. His buddy drives a 1967 GTO, and the bad guy (who is actually female) drives a BMW - need I say more...

Thanks for the tip.  I don't have a lot of time to read but this sounds interesting!

Another nice car book is, "Go Like Hell"  It's a book about Carroll Shelby, Ford and Ferrari by A. J. Baime.
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Not a coincidence, but having been there and done that gives the book an authentic feel. I'm not here to spam. I just know that if such a book was out there, as a Mopar fan I'd want someone to tell me about it.

no worries.  dont consider this spam at all.  its challenger related and sounds like it could be a good read.  looking forward to it.  pretty charger, no matter how many times i see that car, and i see it often, i never get over how perfect that body is.

Man that's an old picture, still hate that they burned that old tower down.
Should have just moved it to the side.
