rxapple finding his dad's T/A has me wanting to find my dad's old Bronco.  I grew up with the truck and learn how to drive on it (3 speed on the column).  The VIN is U15GLH78922 and it was last seen in the Seattle area about 20 years ago.

Here's some photos from the early / mid 70's of the truck.  It was factory Red (white top) 302 with a 3 speed and dual tanks.  It would mean the world to my dad and I if we could find it.  My number is 360-772-5555 if anyone has any leads.

Yes that is me washing the Bronco in Sept of 1974.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

CODY,
one of the dudes I've worked work for the last dozen years is heavy into old school Bronco's and has been his since a kid. In fact, I know he just purchased another one a few years back.
I know it's a long, long ,long shot, but who knows.
Word of mouth can be your friend.
I'll pass along the info to him

There's a few of them on CL but they don't normally list VINs:

http://staugustine.craigslist.org/cto/3650289014.html
http://reno.craigslist.org/cto/3652985029.html
http://losangeles.craigslist.org/ant/cto/3682709882.html

Don't know anything about old Broncos...anything obvious I should look for to eliminate them?

Thanks for the links and help guys (and even the funny comments).  I've sent emails to the ads on CL and will try going to the Dept of Licensing next week.

I think old photos of cars and people are super cool and would love to see more.  So, does anyone else have old photos with cars in them?

Wish you luck Cody. Those have always been popular, but seems only time I see them is out west so you may have a chance. They all rotted away years ago in the midwest.

Man, love the old pics, Cody!  Like the one with the Bronco all mudded up.

My first thoughts when I saw this was, "Maybe it's in Japan too like that purple Challenger T/A?".  :roflsmiley:

Hope you find it, dude.  Keep us updated!  I'll keep an eye out on craigslist for you.

Wow, I had one exactly like that in the early '90s. Can't help with any vin info though and the red/white combo was so popular, it will be hard to chase it down.

Early Broncos have an almost cult like status with off roaders. Dynacorn is going to or already has started repoping the bodies, that is how "in demand" they are. Depending on source, production figures are somewhere between 300 and 500 thousand units in wagon, truck, and convertible models.

Found a similar Bronco for my dad.  It's a 1970 Red with white 3 speed on the column 302 with dual tanks.

I gave it to him on Friday and he was speechless.
