Fog Light Switch Location Debate

    Fog Light Switch Location Debate

    Couple of my Mopar Buddies (members here) say that the Fog Light switch is suppossed to be located on the lower frame.

    I say "No Way!"   :grinno:

    Maybe 1970 models were down below.
    As far as I recall, they were installed above the heater switch.

    I want to make sure I put the switch in the right location.

    Was the switch location done differently just for 1970 only?
    Was it done both ways? LA plant did it different?

    Any info on year specific, or plant specific: is what I would like to confirm.
    Also if either one of these pictures are correct or incorrect.

    I haven't installed mine. I think that either position is an eyesore. I run them on relays as driving lights when ignition is turned on. When parking lights or more is on they are turned off.
    But I have also tried to find out the correct position. So I will fetch the popcorn and watch the events unfold.  :popcorn:

    Depends if it's 70 or 71 and if it's Standard or Rallye dash...

    This is an original 70 standard dash location ... 100% for sure original.

    What I was mainly wanting to know was if 71's had them above the heater switches like in the 2nd picture.

    I believe 71 Rallye dash is mounted in the same location as the 70 standard dash I posted above.

     :wave: mine is -70 rally dash,mounted as in pic 1. in your pic 2, isnt there supposed to be a hole where a lamp shines down on the heater Controls there?  :clueless:
