test and tune saturday
« on: March 17, 2013 - 06:24:18 PM »
drove the cuda to the track saturday its about an hour and 15 minute ride pulled thru the gate let it cool for a few minutes dropped the et street radials to 16 psi. did a little burnout and she hooked dead up on the first pass ran a 7.66 at 89mph in the 1/8th with a 1.69 60 foot time. i was pleased with it although i needed more gear which i knew but its a street car. with the 3.91's and 28" tires i was hitting high gear right at the lights. sadly the first pass was the best everytime after that it was wheel spin and frustration. between that and vapor locking i was pulling my hair out but it was a fun day, my dad was along with me during the ride there and back plus my kids loved it as well.
