I got some places to drive it  :stirpot: :bigsmile:

So, I would rather have a viper than any other car I have ever seen.
This car is phenomenal !

I'm glad to see that Ralph Giles had the balls to call them out for using a preproduction model, and to see passionate engineers at SRT.

I bet it rides like a truck.

Too bad it doesn't have a HP boost.  maybe that's slated for the upcoming (if at all) ACR?

What's the hiearchy?

Viper-->TA-->GTS--->ACR?

And how about carbon ceramic brakes for a $140k car?

You wont get an argument from me that it isnt the epitome of Mopar performance, but...
you know how I feel, right now the car to have is a genII. Much more affordable and very soon to be a true classic.

Only need to know that most have been abused, and parts for the most part still must come from Ma Mopar, which means.....$$$$$$
A lot cheaper to keep one of our big blocks running.

Auto magazines use what the manufacturers provide. If they provide a preproduction vehicle then it's their own fault, not the magazine's. And Gilles calling into question Pobst driving skills was still bush league.

I see your argument, but comparing a pre-production model against a production car is a load of McLame sauce. Pre-production models are generally not  fully sorted or even production quality. Motor Trend would know this, so why even bother doing the comparison? Its like comparing the dyno sheets of 2 cars, only one has been tuned to the ninth, and the other is on its shakedown run.
