Anyone have a suggestion on getting into a 72 Challenger trunk with no key. I trying to hold out on a locksmith unless I have to. Well let me know.

Take the back seat out and get a small kid or adult to pull the lock rod.

first step will be to remove the rear seat (only takes a minute), and then with a little luck, a flashlight, and a little contorting you should be able to see the lock mechanism a couple feet out of your arms reach. How to unlock it from there I cant help you but you might be able to work the mechanism with a long prybar or screwdriver.
