Poly Bushing and Reinforced K-Frame

I have poly sturt rod bushings (Energy Suspension)and I am in the process of reinforcing the K-frame in my 74 Cuda.

The bushings apear to be centered by thte steel sleeve and a sholder on the bushing.

Will addding material to the mounting point on the K-frame cause a problem???

Worse case scenario is it pushes the strut rod and LCA back? You could turn down the strut rod shoulder the same amount as the material you added on the k-frame?   How are the bushings for thickness as compared to the stock ones?   This is where adjustable strut rods would be beneficial.

should be OK , the reinforcement plates will pull the rod further forward = more caster

 Your right, I was thinking backasswards !   Really when I think about it adding material to the front of the k-frame or a thicker front bushing won't do anything. The front nut just won't tighten as far.
If I remember right the  energy suspension poly bushings are thicker than stock, and adding a thicker rear bushing on the k-frame  will push the rod/LCA back.
I used these but made my own adjustable strut rods so it was an non issue.

Brad those are the same bushing that came in my kit.

I will bolt it all together and see what happens.

I'd assemble and verify. Some poly strut bushings are too thick to begin with and do not allow the lower arm to seat fully.
