I'm from a Canadian 'border town' and I've never heard the sentiment that 'American's hate us'.  :dunno: What's not to like? Hunting, fishing, beer, and hockey!...and beer.

I'm sure there are some in each country that don't like their neighbor, but they are few in number I think.

Americans are just like everybody else. There's a$$holes and there's nice folks and nobody has a monopoly on either type. By and large, most Yanks are the nicest people you'd care to meet. Why this character would say he knew Americans hated Canucks is a wee mystery and I'd suspect, as mentioned, that there's a story in there somewhere. Maybe he's an oil pipeline worker- Ha! Just my  :2cents:  :canada:

With being Canadian I have never personally had a bad encounter with Americans except at the boarder haha.  Most I know have gone out of there way to help me. I do however think this comes from he media. I have seen countless things of tv and in the paper about American shoppers being mad that we come down shopping. It even went as far as a protest for American only hours at Costco. You usually only see the negative stuff. Like I said before your all good in my books! Eh!

I've been up to the great White North numerous times for work and play. I have never had any encounter that gave me this impression.

It's actually quite enticing to move North but the weather and job situation make this a little untenable.

Canada gave us Red Green and the Trailer Park Boys.  What's not to love? (oh and my whole family, but I'm not saying which part of Canada produced them)  :bricks1:
Yes I own a 1972 Dodge Challenger Convertible T/A S/E with a 440 Six Pak. Can it get any more wrong?
