Are these really worth all the money they cost?  All factory systems come mandrel bent so I don't think there's any gain there.  Why not just remove the factory resonators/mufflers and replace with something else?

The factory SRT exhaust is pretty good from a performance standpoint, so you aren't going to pick up much performance with a stock engine.  So  you are mostly paying to get a different (louder) sound.

:iagree: sound is what everyone is after, you won't feel any kind of difference power wise unless you put long tubes on as well

Does your car have MDS? That will be your limiting factor here, because when these cars shut down 4 cylinders, the drone is UNBEARABLE. There's only a few manf. (Like corsa for example) that are good enough to avoid the drone in mds mode. Simply cutting off factory resonators would make that aspect hard to deal with

If you go with a good quality system IE: Corsa or Borla Drone is not a factor

Save your money for headers and a predator.

You won't get much bang for the buck on a new exhaust as for as HP increase.

Best bang for the buck will be a Diablosport Trinity tuner according to most. Once you have that, add the CAI and catback exhaust. Gain at top end but feels and sound good all around. I got the Magnaflow street series, just louder than stock slightly at idle and normal driving but open up nice when you step on the pedal. No drone after break in. Header will be nice but most States emission law is a no go.

Just put Borla-ATAK on mine last week. Love the tone. Not much increase in HP. But the sound is un-real. I have a 2009 RT Challenger.
