The test video is completely staged, how many dealerships have you seen on a gated private road? Either that or Pepsi paid a mint to the salesman and the car JG almost ran off the road....

Back to the Z28-that will spank anything. Waiting to see what the 50th Mustang will offer and hopefully Mopar does a T/A version of the Challenger that will send the z28 packing

Yeah, curious what the new mustang will be like.  Should be completely different, not more retro styling.  I saw some concept pics and it looks decent.

Not to be a downer, would be nice if Mopar would put out something like a T/A version but highly unlikely since they are thinkning of axing the Challenger eventually...  :(  If sorta lost faith that they'll do anything exciting.  Been waiting and waiting...

Ralph Gilles already said that the SRT Challenger response will debut next year, most likely at the NYIAS.

Like everything else, it all comes down to money, money, and more money. It seems that Ford and GM have deeper pockets and I don't think Sergio Marchionne (sounds weird typing that name as the CEO of Chrysler??) is going to invest too many bucks into building a kick-ass world-beating competitor to the Mustang and Camaro.
Cheers!

My former manager lives in Detroit and his next door neighbor is the Chief Engineer for the Camaro at Chevrolet.  His neighbor brings home all the Camaro models well in advance of their availability to the rest of us.  I haven't driven the z28 myself, but I have to say both the Mustang & Challenger impress me more than Camaros do.  I've owned an 83 z28 and a 95 Trans Am so I'm not anti-GM, but the current Camaro just seems 'rough' & 'cheap' to me.  I'd strongly suggest driving before buying as far as Camaros are concerned.  Great looking car, just not up to the Mustang & Challenger ride & quality wise.  Just my .02.
