Well I imagine the "difficulty" level of finding each car is kinda dependent on your location, I live in a area of about 25k people, and after going to cruise nights and car shows an making friends I can tell you this, there are 7 ebodies here, 3 of which are original 440-6 cars, and there is only 1 mustang fastback.  Was the complete opposite back home in Cali, so maybe where ur at they grow on trees, but thats not the case for everyone, so why don't we just wish him luck and leave this thread for the people who may be interested in his clean little  mustang

Wow what love, clean little mustang

Just stating facts here, there are ton's of fastbacks you can find all over the country and even very few "project" cudas you will be willing to take on.

Between 70 & 71 (the 2 years he is interested in) Plymouth made 65000 barracudas, over 40,000 of which were 'Cuda's and grand coupes, that not even counting verts, and in 66 ford made 35k fastbacks, 27k standard fastbacks and less than 8k luxury fastbacks, so if we are just stating facts then his stang is just as rare a find as a 'cuda.  Just pisses me off that u had nothin better to do than try to take a s@#t in this guys ad, he didn't post this ad to hear your condescending opinion, he posted it for anyone interested in a mustang fastback.  Listen to Thumper's mom, "if u can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all"

Let's not fix facts to make your point.

1965 Production number for Mustangs is 580k of which about 80k fastbacks were made

1970 Production numbers for Barracudas is 48867 of which roughly 17k Cuda's were made

So by these facts you are wrong.

Btw, good luck to all4rocks in his trade endeavors...

Your number are sea on HP, but his car isn't a 65, and he is interested in 70 and 71 cudas, my point breing there are just as many of what he is looking for as there are of what he has.   We all have the Internet, so we all have access to the same info, just dot see any rhyme or reason to why u started in on this thread in the first place, keep the condescending attitude and negative opinion of what people want to do with their own cars to yourself.  We are all here to share knowledge and support each other in this hobby, so why don't we stick to doin that, so if someone wants to trade cars or paint a car a color up don't like, don't sweat it, it's not your car, keep it to yourself
