  • Mopar or No Car!

I find it funny that you state that I am condescending and you call his car a "little mustang".

Go ahead and post again because I won't read it nor follow anything you say.

TGIF!

Your number are sea on HP, but his car isn't a 65, and he is interested in 70 and 71 cudas, my point breing there are just as many of what he is looking for as there are of what he has.   We all have the Internet, so we all have access to the same info, just dot see any rhyme or reason to why u started in on this thread in the first place, keep the condescending attitude and negative opinion of what people want to do with their own cars to yourself.  We are all here to share knowledge and support each other in this hobby, so why don't we stick to doin that, so if someone wants to trade cars or paint a car a color up don't like, don't sweat it, it's not your car, keep it to yourself

That 67 hemihunter is really COOL.
I would love to have that just like it shows in the picture.
In fact, I just copied the picture to put in my desktop rotation.
Clean up the body a little, throw a clear on it, put in a reliable killer drivetrain, a windshield, seats, and drive the coolest looking beater in town. And nice rims, but the killers would be the classic knock off type with huge rubber. Dream car stuff.

Of course, if I traded my cuda for it, my wife would kill me  :nono:

Not to hijack, but have any more pics of the 67? I enjoy downloading auto porn.

Very very nice!
I know you want to trade the 66, but I am in love with your 67. Awesome custom body work...and probably functional side scoops? Brake cooling ?
4.11 gear....I guess the 6 speed will help with that on the highway.
I wish you luck in completing your build and with your trade.
Keep us posted here. I'll check out protouring.com/

PS..great choice on the wheels and rubber  :2thumbs:

i think those 67-68 fastbacks are just about the most beautiful body style ever.  throw a little modern flare at it and its perfect.

Thats what we tried to do. Use the nice lines of the 67 fastback but tweak em just a little. i refer to it as "perfecting the past'.

I decided to keep the car. I was having a tough time parting with it anyways. I threw some new wheels and tires on it and thought it looked pretty good.

I still wanted a 70 or 71 cuda so I just went out and bought one. Purchased this plum crazy purple 440 4bbl car. I love it. It has a whole different COOL factor than the mustang does.
