my boy at the Carlisle show
« on: March 14, 2005 - 10:02:39 PM »
Hey guys here goes. Since recently getting bit by the MOPAR bug again I have been looking for the right car to sink thousands of dollars into. I have yet to find it which is fine cause I still have another semester of school to finish up first anyways.
But here is my question....Do you all stand by your cars like guard dogs at Carlisle or do some of you actually allow others to touch and possibly sit in them? Reason being is cause I live about 2 hours north of carlisle and will be there for most shows this summer and was hoping at the big show someone would let me get some shots of my boy in a sweet MOPAR, he is 2 years old and this kid lives for cars . This is not an exageration in the slightest he gets up and goes right to his box of about 100 hot wheel cars lines them up all day and runs em around the floor. When he goes to his grandparents same way, he has about a 100 at each set of gparents. When we eat out he has to be by the window to watch them go by and he will sit through entire episodes of overhaulin and other car shows with me. It is so cool. (thanks to this the wife gave the green light for the infamous father/son project car)
Anyways ....there was a request in there somewhere. I could go on but I am tired.

Thanks alot guys, Bryan (future MOPAR owner...and past :'(  )

Welcome aboard!  mine is still in pieces, so that gets ruled out of one of the possible cars.  You'll have to wait around a bit to see who all will have their car there for sure and see what they say.  I'm sure one of them would throw you a bone here.

Boy, this kid will have one of the coolest photos to show people when he's older.  Him sitting in a Mopar muscle car classic at the age of 2.  Wish I had something like that to pass around. :'(  Alright, back to the happy stuff!!! :grinyes:

You can get a pic of him in this car if you'd like. I plan to be there with the car below.

My car is not as cool as a 71 Hemi Cuda ( insert drool here  ) but I'll be there and he can have a seat in mine.
I'm the father of 2, and when ever the kids get a kick out of my cars I encourage it. I have no problems with letting little ones getting in. I've done it in the past.

Ehhhmmm....while we're asking....Hemi71, I have never been in or have driven in a hemi car (I don't think my hemi truck compares!).  Do you think I could get a short ride???  I'll even sit in the back seat??? I'll pay for some gas!....I'll buy you a smoothie....anything else I could offer?? :worship: :worship:  I tried this last year...but no one from the board brought a hemi car.

If i was going to the big show i would let your little guy sit in my Cuda foresure. I have let several people do that in the past at other shows because i see the joy that it brings to them. If there is no harm done im in.

Maybe you can get pictures of the big guy with all the cc.com cars that show up this year.

Don't have a Hemi, but I do have fuzzy dice.
