I have -5 degrees on the drive shaft and + 8 on the pinion.
What size shim should i go with? THANKS!!!! :thumbs:

From my experience (nothing with cars BTW) you want the driveshaft and pinion to be inline if running a CV style shaft, and with a traditional 2 u-joint shaft (like on these old mopars) you want the pinion and the output of the transmission to be at the same angle.

So, what I'm saying is take a degree measurement of the transmission (I usually use a flat part on the slip yoke) and correct the pinion to agree to that number.

Ok so I assume the nose of pinion is below the driveshaft , so you need to be at 5-7* nose down , & you have 13* now so logically you need a 7* shim ...but as you raise the nose the driveshaft angle also imporoves so I would start with a 4* shim & see how much it imporves with that
