Hello All,
I have a 1974 cuda for which I have removed the ripped seat cover, in order to install new legendary seat covers.
After removing the upholstery, I noticed that two of the seat springs on the seat bottom of the front bucket were broken. Now I know why the driver seat always felt too cushy, and was never firm.
What is the most economical way to replace these two seat springs? I see that YearOne sells the entire bottom seat spring assembly for the 1970-1974 cuda, but the price is $141 on their website. Is this the best way to go, to replace the entire assembly? Or no.
Also, does anyone sell the entire assembly cheaper than year one.
Thanks for the help!
