We're going with the Dynomax Turbos...haven't heard them yet, but understand they're not as aggressive and loud as the flowmasters.

I have Flowmaster 40's too.  I did want to go with the 50 series for less inside noise, but we ran into some problems and had to go and get 40's.  I have a set of brand new 2 1/2 inch Flowmaster 50 series sitting here if you or anyone else is interested.

I have the turbos.  I'm running a 340 w/ a 0.030 overbore, TTI's step headers and 2.5" cuda exhaust.  They turbos are loud under throttle.  Not as loud as Flowmaster, but they also don't have the cruising speed drone the Flows have.

Flowmasters 40 series.

Love them too - guy I ran into at a cruise was using Warlock I believe. They had a good sound and were nice becasue they had "dumps" for running almost open header ( plates with thumb screws for opening up a dirrect hole from the header ) but you better like crawling under the car to do it.

I have Flowmaster Delta 40s wich sound great without to much inside noise dut.......... I have a set of Super 40s on the way because they are supposed to be the most agressive so far. I also am wanting to block out the sound of blenders with radios.

:iagree: Yupe, me too.......

I heard there pleasent on the road under low rpm and at highway speeds it isn't huming or droning along.

They only get agressive and loud when you nail, which in my opinion is when you want. A stock 440 is loud enough.  ;)

Performance wise the Dynomax system is what I wanted.
