Good looking car!

As time and/or budget allows - the SE package or A46 moulding group also comes with bright aluminum trim in the mouth of the front valance.

2-piece for '70-'71 and perfect reproductions are available.

:iagree:
IMO, there is nothing wrong at all (I'm not a show judge kind of car guy). Just decisions made determined by what you had, or what you wanted. I'd be proud to own it!

It`s a Challenger not a `cuda!  :stirpot: Wrong color to begin with but it`s obviously not a "correct" resto. You built it like you wanted therefore nothing is really incorrect.  :dunno:

Hello fellow members..........I am liking what I read so far..............I will post some new pics this weekend.........and yes , the yellow engine bay is now, not then.  The website chapters actually are in mostly the correct progression of rebuild. Some of the original parts are from other folks attempts to do-over.   Like the 73 dash and interior.  The cap is because I did not want to pay $700+ for a new pad.....as I was building a driver anyway.  But I think I did get lucky with some of the progress I made.   Keep the comments comming.......I am sitting here smiling now...........and Thanks, David

Hey all four center caps match

Only two things on the exterior stand out to me.....wrong mirrors, wrong exhaust tips, wrong tires...okay maybe three

Correct on all 3 items........The mirrors are from I think a B body....I had to actually make the rubber gaskets at an angle to get them to mount upright.  The tips would work for a Cuda better but at the time.......only $32.00......and the tires were on it when I got it and still had the little tits on them.......so I am running untill...........and the center caps are all 70 now.  I swapped the 73s a couple of years ago.......MORE>>>>>>>>

Looks great, but I would seriously swap the mirrors and rear tips asap.

Those 14" wheels?  I think a set of 15s would look much better. 15x8, 15x10 Magnum 500s actually.

Reminds me of this hemi car:

Engine comparment looks good.

I would move the distributor ECU to the rear valley intake holdown plate (rocket resto carries this bracket) to hide it and move the wiring along the intake to hide it better.

I'd restore the wiper motor.

Get some 1970-specific valve covers.

Paint the intake.

Fuel line/hose wrong.

I'm thinking the brake booster should be gloss black?

AC lines and thermostat and cable needed.

Mopar  battery.

Looking good!   :ylsuper:

From a restoration stand point, there's so much wrong with the engine compartment, you're better off listing what's CORRECT.
