Reply to a quote question

If I want to reply to someone I click on the reply button which pops up the reply window. Then I click the quote button on what someone has posted which puts it in the reply window. When I add my comment after that the comment ends up in the coloured quote area instead of below it. It looks like my comment is part of the quote. What am I doing wrong?

You have to add your reply after the {quote} at the end. If you add your reply before, it becomes part of the quote.

Not exactly true Mike, you just have to be sure to type outside the "quote " marks.

And you can edit the quote

type outside the "quote " marks. 

And put words under the quote. make sure to have a space between your quote and your reply.
