SHAKER Grill Colors/Finish (Need Opinions)
« on: April 12, 2013 - 02:01:36 PM »
Apologies if this is not the appropriate forum for this query.  The prior owner opted to paint the SHAKER bubble and grills body color (dark metallic blue; not an original color obviously).  I changed the color of the bubble to satin black, stripped the paint off the cast aluminum grills, and now need opinions on how the grills should/could/would be finished/painted.  If painted, what color, and what paint?  Would you opt for non-painted grills? Have them plated, or polished?  I'm thinking they would look best painted silver (don't know what exact silver though).  I think there are too many casting imperfections to have them either polished, or plated.  What are your opinions?  Photos of yours would be appreciated as well.  (Attached are two photos I pulled off the web).  Thanks.

Thanks.  So, with a satin black bubble, you would prefer flat black grills?
