Gas Tank
« on: April 12, 2013 - 06:04:33 PM »
I am wanting to swap out the gas tank to my 72 Challenger and also wanting to swap the sending unit too, was wondering everyone's thoughts  on where I should by my parts, kind of new with the brands so looking for suggestions. I have been looking on Ebay and they go from 140 or so to in the 200's. Well let me know!

If you are interested, I'll make you a good deal on a slightly used gas tank. It was in my car for less than a year. It is like new. I converted my tank to an internal pump when I did my fuel injection upgrade and didn't want to weld on a tank that had previously had gas in it so I bought another new one.

Thanks.

I saw on Texas Car Wars that they used vinegar and baking soda to fill the tank and let it sit for a while. They said it worked. Has anyone done this before?

Check with Dave at Roseville Moparts  . . . If he has the parts, I would buy from him for sure!
