I agree. It was inconvenient for a huge number of people. And I can believe that it was traumatic for a bunch of people as well. I saw the picture of the kid being carried out of the house.
But there was every possibility that this guy could have been wearing a "suicide vest."
So I think they did the right thing in this case. However, if this became the standard modus operandi, then we have an issue. And that is a risk, since the final outcome was positive. We have now sent a message to terrorists that they can shut down large cities and disrupt commerce, which is what they want.
