Mustang Wheels on a 'Cuda W/ PICS

I have 9" mustang style fronts. As zappa says you need a one inch adapter. As in you bolt the adapter to the hub and then bolt the wheel to the adapter. I used 10.5 " wheels on the back so i moved the leafs i  with a dr diff 1.5" offset kit. As for the wheel bore call american  muscle. I talked to them a year or two ago and they gave me the bore size of the wheel i was looking at.

So I've been doing a lot of back and forth  and I think I've made my decision. I've looked at pictures of both the FR500 and the TSW wheel on a vehicle side by side, and I like the FR500 more.

I'm going with the 18x9 30mm offset up front and will be running a bolt on 1" hub centric spacer. I will get a Mustang spacer (70.5 mm hub bore) so the wheel will mount correctly to the spacer, and I'll have the back side of the spacer (I.D.) machined out to fit the Mopar hub. This is the best scenario I could think of. This will put me right at about 5.25 BS, and from what I've been reading is about spot on. Planning on going with 275/35-18 Nitto NT05's. 25.53" tall. They also make a 275/40-18, is about an inch taller.

For the rear, 18x10 22mm offset with a 3/8" spacer. This should net a 6" BS, just about perfect for my set up. Going to run 295/35-18 Nitto NT05's.  About 26.18" tall. Should be about an even sidewall front and back and look symmetrical (slightly taller in the back). They also make a 295/45-18, but that is about 28.5" tall and I think it would be a bit much

Update: So my spacers have showed up. As it turns out, I'm going to have to turn down the hubs anyway. If I machine out the I.D. of the spacer, it is going to wipe out the hubcentric ring because I'll have to go the whole length (depth) of the spacer. Oh well, not a show stopper. So after some minor machine work from a buddy of mine (cost me a box of 5.56 ammo), I have the wheels on!

Those looks great!   

The only thing that I would do if those were mine, and I know they are not, this is just my opinion, is to add a pinstripe on the lip of the rim.  IMO all black rims look killer with red or blue stripes on the rim.  I did that to a set of steel rims on my old Integra (I know, different type of car.) and it made a big difference.    Yellow (to match body color) might be a bit too bright IMO, red looks best to me.
