    Look what came in the mail

    I'm the 4th owner of my Chally. A while ago I found the 1st owner. Today this came in the mail from him along with the cancelled cheques for payment.

    That’s pretty cool.  It always nice to find some history on your car.  1978; that’s awhile back.

    $70!! For insurance!!  Wow, I miss the good old days.  But, by 1978 gasoline was already getting expensive.  If memory serves me right, gas was around 68 cents a gallon.  Outrageous! It was only a quarter five years earlier.

    Where I lived in Washington the gas cost around $1.26 a gallon.  Compare that price to today where $3.40 is a good price which is down $1.60 from a year ago.  I suspect ten years from now we will call todays prices the good old day.... :clueless:
