Gday from down under!!!
« on: April 23, 2013 - 05:11:16 AM »
 :aussie:
Gday fellow MOPAR people. Recently bought a 1970 Dodge Challenger RT with a 440/727. Going to trick it up bit by bit. Have been scanning this forum and sounds like a lot of good people with heaps of knowledge. Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth don't have a huge following/support down here, so getting help/info can be a challenge. Not to mention parts. Soon as I figure out how to post pics I'll upload some of the new (for me) beast.
Cheers.

James.

G'day, mate!

Sweet ride you got there. You really need to tweak it...?
Good to see another E-body fan introduce himself from this side of the planet. I just did so myself a day ago and got a lot of welcome's.
Looks like we have a good crowd here!

Thanks for all the welcomes guys. I should clarify my tweaking statment. I am not going to change how it looks, simply make it more reliable and a bit more HP. At the moment she has earned the nickname "Princess" as there always seams to be new issues popping up. Currently running really rich and backfiring out the exhaust. I am guessing there might be a bit of dirt in the main jet that is keeping the metering rod stuck open. So far it seams to be 1 step forwards 2 steps back. But I will win the battle.
