Got one more in mind? Is it a good deal?
« on: April 27, 2013 - 07:00:11 PM »
Hello everyone i found this one. I was wondering if it is worth it value and the price they have it for. 1973 Cuda, 340,(was a 318 car) auto, power disc brakes, power steering, bucket seats, console, scoop hood, magnum 500 wheels, seats have been recovered in great condition, this a running car! Drive it while you restore the car, It does need rust repair, have new 2 piece trunk pan.

How extensive is the rust?  Also what are your plans for it?  If you just want a fun driver/cruise night car it seems okay (depending on rust).  If you want to do a total restoration....you'll be way under water by the time you are done.

Best to go see it if you are near the car. Bring flashlight, a clean towel with a good magnet. Take your time to check over before the test drive.

From what I see in the pics it looks like just some overall clean up would go a long way to make this a nice driver.  It's hard to say on the price without knowing the extent of the rust.

Judging but the rad support the car was originally green? and is that undercoating on the inner fenders ? If so people usually spray that on to hide rot? Have a good look from underneath!  Be careful! :-\
