Congrats to AARudy!
« on: April 29, 2013 - 09:22:08 PM »
Congratulations to AARudy.  He brought his 1970 AAR 'Cuda to the 18th Annual Mopars at the Battleship show at the USS Alabama Memorial Park in Mobile, Alabama, this past weekend and won both best E-Body and the pre-1976 Best in Show awards.    There were a record 204 vehicles at the show.  I counted 3 AMC's and the remaining 201 were true Mopars.  It's a great looking car and Rudy was all smiles and extremely proud of his Mopar.  :rebel:

Here's a link to my photobucket folder where all of my Battleship show pics are located.  AARudy's car is the one and only AAR 'Cuda in the pics.  I believe there are at least 5 pics with his car in them.

Nice pictures!  I saw a lot of Prowlers, any of those have a new hemi swap?  Prolwers look cool, but a new hemi swap would make em run like they look!

Heyyyyyyy!! I just now saw this post!
That was one of the coolest shows yet. The battleship was such a cool location, and everyone in Alabama were great to talk too. I'm excited to see the car on a T shirt and award net year at the show!

For those who do not know, the gentleman next to Rudy in the last picture is the owner of the '71 Charger that received the Best B Body award.  He is none other than Tim Wellborn of the Wellborn Muscle Car Museum in Alexander City, Alabama.  It's a great Mopar muscle car museum.
