Flashers
« on: May 06, 2013 - 02:15:39 PM »
Hi!
I got a problem with my flashers.. They are flashing extremly slow, or only light up without flashing at all.
I wonder, can it be the relay, and if so what kind of relay should i have? I got a -73 chally with those fenderbulbs.

Have you replaced the flasher units? One is mounted on the side of the ash tray, the other at the steering column.

You can buy them just about anywhere for $5

Quite often a bad contact in the flasher will cause this. As said, replace them with new units to rule out the problem. Then look
for a bad ground.
If I cant fix it, it's broke

Ahh so there are two flashers.
Ok, I will get two and replace them then!
Only thing is that I live in Sweden and cant find originals that easy here, but will order them on ebay or something.

Thanks for your fast reply!

You need to give those girls more booze. Sometimes beads help too.
