Sorry guys not to hijack this thread but the only driving sensation we get is sitting on the carpet and makeing pretty authentic 383 engine sounds out of the sides of our mouths.  You guys are killing us with torque talk.   Got to hurry up!   :stomp:

Do I spy an F body in the background?

SEs dont have much standard....basically just the leather seats, smaller rear window, the chrome moldings around the doors, the argent tail panel, argent grille, and the overhead console. I know this because my car is an R/T SE and i have no power windows, no A/C, No 4-speed, no remote-mirrors, no power brakes, no power steering. I think my fender tag is shorter than most deputy challengers

soooo......  back to the thread... what will a 383 bored .20 over with edelbrock perf intake,  with 470 lift 270 duration cam, 650  barry grant, dynomax headers and mufflers, TTI 2.5 inch exhaust and TF 727 with 3.23 rear end and a 2500 stall converter produce for a driving sensation?  How close will it be to a 5.7L  fuel injected Hemi Ram

I doubt you want to hear this but the 383 should make approx 220 RWHP the Ram should be 230 RWHP , the car will still be faster being lighter
