I would think the longer one has more filter material inside, so
it would last longer before clogging up.
I use K&Ns from Summit. They may have a higher burst strength.
K&Ns filter to 10 microns, I think. Not sure what the WIX filter to, but the
WIX have a good reputation for quality. K&Ns are supposed to have a
high tech synthetic filter material.
