My Holley is a lot easier to adjust than the TQ.  For example you can set the float level on a holley without having to pull the carb apart.

I would just grab the 650 Holley spread bore , tyr it , you will like it

Picked it up for $40.  Thanks!  :)  If anything I always have it as a spare, don't see them too often locally on craigslist.  A lot heavier than a Thermoquad!

Uggh...of course this model doesn't have the external float adjustments.  Meant as a replacement for TQs qnd Quadrajets, not meant to be fiddled with I guess.  No secondary metering block.  Has a metering plate.
