well,,having said that,,does it also mean ANY rubber hose in the fuel system needs to be replaced in that same time frame??
i use steel braided lines at the carbs and fuel blocks as well at the tank connected to the elec pump but,,i also have a piece of speced std gas hose used at one point..life exp???
I had a salesman from Aeroquip on another forum tell me 4 years if you drained the fuel during winter storage and 1 year if you left it in? Keep in mind it's a salesman so they want to sell you more?

Ethanol is nasty stuff, I repair small engines for a living and go through a few spools of fuel line every year! Not only does it hurt fuel mileage, performance, and goes bad quicker, but it eats rubber too!
