Friends 72 Gurney Cuda
« on: May 14, 2013 - 05:30:14 AM »
:ylsuper: A friend I was in USMC with found out 3 years ago that his 72 Cuda is an original ordered by Dan Gurney
Back in 71. Mopar dropped the AAR sponsership for 72 . Dan sold the remaining Cudas that he ordered but hadn't
put into race form. My friend has owned it since 1986 . He's restoring it now .

Seriously that is awesome though.  I'm jealous.
It might be ugly but its a '72 barracuda with a 383/727/8.75 combination and that makes it fun.

Cool project.

Tell your friend to go find & meet Dan Gurney and have him sign his glovebox with a silver marker.
At least I would if I were him.   :2cents:

Actually he has met him. The whole Gurney clan wants him to sell them the car back. Lol I'm guessing some signing will happen when its done.
