windshield and rear window moulding stud locations

I had the roof on my 74 Challenger replaced - they threw the old roof away.  Car is newly painted and I just discovered that I don't have any moulding clip studs around the back window and  the roof section of the windshield and don't know where they go.  I do own a stud gun with the correct rivet's so I can weld new ones on if I can find out where they go.  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks

are they welded on a 74?   I guess you need to grind off the paint then?  You could  use `70 clips as they are screwed on  just a thought.

I'm not sure but I dont think it maters much the clips latchs into the trim any where and onto the stud or screwed in clip.

position does matter imo.  maybe not by a 1/2" ,but they keep all pieces and overlaps in the right place

I don't disagree.  spacing is probably important but the trim will clip in no mater where the clips are is what I meant.

Thanks for the replies.  I went with the screw in clips.  Got them from RT Specialities in Falls PA (about 30 miles from me). There are 12 on the front and 18 on the back.  The spacing works out to about a clip every 7 inch.  I marked the center line and put clips 3.5" on each side, then picked up my 7" spacing till I came to a corner where I moved the clips a little closer.  I had 2 original studs on each front windshield post and used them to determine how far down from the roof to drill the holes.  Did this today I'll know how well it turns out once the glass is in and I install the moldings.
