Couple 727 questions
« on: May 16, 2013 - 05:43:11 PM »

if my 727 trans is slightly over full 1/4 inch on dipstick, will it push fluid out?

my tach "seemed" to be reading higher RPMs than should have @ hwy cruising speeds, now that I have adjusted the downshift cable, the RPMs seem correct but now I am having the 1st problem with oil leaking?

1-2 upshift @ normal driving speeds is good but now 2-3 shift is slightly delayed  & firmer (also after cable adjustment)

tia, eh

The downshift cable will adjust shift RPM so that is normal
Where is the leak , it should not leak 1/4" over full but you can crack a cooler line & bleed some fluid back out .
