Hello from Europe
« on: May 20, 2013 - 05:12:02 PM »
Regards from Poland. I've joined the forum last year and found lots of valuable information, which helped me a lot whilst looking for and buying a car for me - the Challenger T/A. It is the original, not moded, matching numbers car in pretty good shape although in need of a decent paint job. During the winter I had some small works done on the car, passed the technical inspection to be able to register her as a classic car and finally, last weekend, I could drive her. She draws lots of attention in the street as Challengers are pretty uncommon here - I have been in touch with Barry Washington, who said, that according to his knowledge, this was the only one T/A in Poland.

I still have some issues to work on the car, still learning, so I will keep on posting. Thanks for any future help.

Regards,
Filip

  :ylsuper:  :2thumbs:  The stock steel rims and dog dish caps really look sharp!  Looks as if it just came out of the factory.  The color combo is priceless!

Thank you guys. After several rides here, I think I will have to make myself a short printed FAQ leaflet and have it in the car, to not have to answer the same questions again and again:
1. what car is that? ....not a Stang...?  :screwy:
2. what engine? .... 5,6 L ......  :22yikes:
3. gas consumption? ....  :eek2:

 ;)

Filip

Stringfellow - thanks for your post, good to hear from a local mopar guy. I live in Poznan, will PM you with more details. When talking about the '70 RT SE Chally, do you mean the GoMango one owned by the user 'willard'? I have found his posts yesterday and was really surprised to see such cool cars on the meeting in Nowy Sacz.
