New Here
« on: May 22, 2013 - 04:26:18 PM »
Hey all,
My name is Ken and I'm located in Sweden. I just got this -70 Challenger convertible, I joined here before I got it and got some good tips on buying it. It's a G-code car with a 340 and a 727. This is my fifth Challenger, I had 2 convertibles and 2 coupes before. (and one Cuda -70) It's been about 17 years since I worked on these cars now and it looks like there is a lot more available parts and information out there since last time I had a Mopar. It's not a perfect original car, and now I gotta figure out if I wanna build a R/T clone or if I'm gonna go with a modern Hemi, suspension, brakes etc. Either way, I'm gonna drive it for a while now and take my time with the restoration.

My car has a very unusual tail molding, never seen this before. To bad someone drilled a hole in it.

Wow! 1k for the taillight panel... Thanks for that info! I hope I can fix the holes in it then, its in pretty good shape other than that. A friend told me a can solder the hole if I use fosforic acid while soldering, then sandpaper and polish it up, have to Goggle a bit on fixin alu trim...
