    2005 H E M I show in Phoenix

    Saturday got rained out but sunday was nice so I went down and grabbed some pics

    Bob Riggle was there but it was too windy for any passes

    Attendance was down from last year even though last year was held in a dirt lot :dontknow:

    Yeah its pretty cool to watch that car goes down the track on 2 tires at over 100MPH!!

    Hard luck award went to the '70 Barracuda

    It dropped the driveshaft at the eighth mile mark  (stupid aluminum driveshaft)

    destroyed lots of parts :'(

    My son came with me and we decided to go to the eighth mile mark to take some high speed pics

    These cars were whipping by but the $80 camera did pretty well

    Very nice pics!  Thanks for sharing them.  Too bad about the cuda's drive shaft problem.  perhaps too much torque for the joints.  Must have been cool at the finish line feeling the sound of 800 horsepower..
