    That sucks, looks like his rear axle is shot. I wonder who would be considered at fault for this? The owner of the GT500, or the dyno owner.

    Me thinks he's gonna have a flat spot on that driver's rear tire....   :sly:  Dyno was still spinning although that tire had stopped.

    Would be curious to see what actually went wrong.  Lotta sparks!  :22yikes:

    Funny comment on that link, "So that's hows the dynos became extinct."   :roflsmiley:


    Possible reason?  :dunno:

    "Actually I think that's what failed. The tie down on the right side broke and let the right side of the dyno get thrown out from underneath the car. I don't think the dyno failed - it came loose under the car."

    Just saw this video, a rear view of what happened, from the comments on the above video.  It looks like possibly something in the dyno seized and the rear roller popped out the back of the dyno.  :dunno:

    I'm standing far back from one of those dynos next time...
