FY4 AAR
« on: June 05, 2013 - 05:54:14 PM »
Has anyone ever seen one in person or pictures? I'm curious as I have seen the color listed on the AAR registry but have never seen one. I have seen the FY4 TA challenger and they looked really good.

I haven't and can't find any pics, sorry.

Here's the Challenger T/A in case anyone is wondering.

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Pic #2 and 3 of my ARII 1/24 scale model car

I have never seen an FY4 or a BL1 AAR. though I have seen several T/As in those colors. Conversely I've never seen a T/A in EB7.

I'd guess it's white based on the lighting.

You should register it with the registries since there are none currently in the AAR registry in that color.

I think that TA looks sharp and has given me a thought. My car was factory built as an FY4, but PO changed to rally red. I was going to leave it red and do a AAR tribute, but rethinking this. It would be different and might look sharp as an AAR with black and gold contrasting colors? Never thought I would consider this color...... Hmmm...

YA know this may happen. After showing my wife the TA picture, I found another picture it was a model of an AAR cuda, color seems a little different, but it helps to visualize the concept. see said she liked it since our car was originally that color. We went out to dinner last night and she brought it up about painting it!

As of 10/4/15 there are no FY4 AAR's on my registry. Here is a color breakdown so far. This has changed since ive done it but only by a couple here and there. JCBeaudrys is the only BL1 AAR I have on file.

Dont forget to register your AAR at the AAR Registry only at www.transamcuda.com 1981 AAR's on file. Also info on 70 thru 74 E-Bodies. Ask me about yours!!
