73 Rallye Chally, JA5/B5
« on: June 06, 2013 - 08:33:04 PM »
Greetings From San Diego!!,
Here is a 73 rallye Challenger that I bought back in 87, For $500.00.,
Ja5 with B5 blue interior, 340< Original motor was long gone, Had a 69 340 in it's place,
4 speed with the pistol grip still there, Poor girl has suffered many indignities over the years,
The good news is, Rust free floor pans and trunk, I bought the car in Northern Virginia when I lived
In maryland, Rebuilt the motor, then started bodywork. Moved to San Diego and the car has sat except for a few things here and there,
Want to start again on the car, going to be a multi year project, but, better late then never!!

:bananasmi :bananasmi :bananasmi Another JA5 car!!!  This is the very first JA5 Challenger I've seen with blue interior.  Thank you for joining!  I've been wondering if any were built.  A few months ago there was a JA5 Cuda on craigslist that was totally destroyed.  It had some blue interior pieces still visable.  There couldn't have been many made with that combo.  Hopefully you are planning on returning it to that color.  Many more pics please!

Somebody's been trolling my album!!!
Thank's for the tip!
That is pretty much how she sits today,
Still needs a ton of work, and in this economy......... :blah:
Little by little, If I would have put $50.00 a month in her since I've had her,
Well, You know......... :violin:

Welcome, silver & blue definitely work well together, but have never seen that exterior / interior combination on a Challenger before...
