Flip up gas cap
« on: June 08, 2013 - 01:37:42 PM »
Is there a gasket between the steel locking ring and the quarter panel on cars with the flip up gas cap?  Thanks

As far as I have seen, I don't think there is.
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Question has come up before, not one originally but when aftermarket quarter panels are used there is a depth issue that making a seal/gasket will help with fitment.
