1 min, 34 sec, 140 MPH...  Nice.

And about 3:00 buried....

That must be an expensive ride.  I think regular gas was about $8/gallon when I was in Germany in 2012.

Great video, thanks!

Brad, did he bring his car over to Canada from Germany?  :clueless:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Yes he shipped his car over from  Rotterdam to NYC if I remember right , then drove the car across the USA and part of Canada. He stopped by for lunch on his way. Great guy glad I got a chance to meet him in person!

Yep, shipped it from Rotterdam (Netherlands, not Germany) to Bayonne, New Jersey.
Drove it in 5 weeks almost 9k miles.
And shipped it from Houston back to Rotterdam.

Met some great folks over there, like Brad Richmond, Eddie Nasser and Andrew McCraner (all CC members).

Hi Roland (   66PaleRider)!

Nice clip, must be the ultimate adrenaline kick. Did some vacationing in Europe last year and the discipline Autobahn drivers show is quite amazing.

Roland, mind telling us a little bit about your car? Engine, trans, suspension? Sounds like you are running a 4 speed....

72 Challenger, 440 stroker, 727 (70 clone)
70 Barracuda Gran Coupe
And on the side:
67 Pontiac GTO
63 Lincoln Continental

- transmission: manual 4 speed, pistol grip shifter, 8 3/4 rear axle, 3.23 gear ratio
- clutch: hydraulic (Keisler)
- exhaust: TTI 1-7/8" ceramic coated headers, TTI 3.0" X system with Dynomax UltraFlo mufflers
- rims: American Racing AR500, front 17x7 ET 0 BS 4, rear 17x9,5 ET 8 BS 5,5
- tires: Falken FK-452, front 235/45-17, rear 275/40-17
- brakes: front & rear Wilwood disks
- suspension, front: 1.12 sway bar, 0.96 torsion bars, KYB Gas-a-Just shocks, new rubber bushings
- suspension, rear: 0.88 sway bar, Hotchkis Sport leaf springs, Competition Engineering adjustable drag shocks, new rubber and poly bushings
- steering: power, remanufactured steering box by Steer & Gear, 'extra extra firm' mode
- body: weld in subframe connectors, custom frame connectors near radiator support and near cross member, MAS front spoiler

Note: at the time of that video and my USA/Canada trip I had a SixPack instead of EFI
