I think it might be a good idea to make that thread only visible to logged in members, and not to "guests".  What do y'all think about that??   :dunno:

I'd say that would be a good idea. What Ma Mopar can't see they can't ask us to take down? Might work for awhile?

To be completely fair, moparts has a much more active for sale/wanted section.

of course, that's all I ever look at over there, where here I look at almost every post

I never really went to the forum, but quite often used the site for the list of "go to" sites regarding Mopar stuff. I'm surprised to hear it, but it's all to common when a bunch of cronnies run the show without regard to rules or rules that don't apply to them  :screwy: .....oh wait this sounds like our current congress!!  :roflsmiley: :smilielol: :roflsmiley:

we could even further protect it by post count so only regular active members get to see, not just those who sign up for an account

I've been a stanger to cc for some time but only because i have been really busy doing other things but i do check in from time to time. I really like the idea of this database though. Far as that other site thats been mentioned, well i'll keep my comments to myself  I found cc.com and never looked back.

Good Luck, Dave, on your endeavors! It would be a HUGE boon to the hobby. And thank you.

Dave
Hope you and Ross can pull this together.
Past and present restorers or just those replacing worn out parts could use a database bible.

I think this data base is a great idea and really appreciate all the efforts and the benefits to our forum but I was wondering at what post count can they see it?  What did you have in mind?  :clueless:

Just curious, why limit it to those with a certain level of post count?  :clueless:  Just wondering that's all...

I guess I'm thinking that yes it would be good for members of the forum to see it but it would be great benefit for all members to see it, not just those with a certain post count.  If a new person joins then it could benefit them as well.  :dunno:  Just wondering...
