We got Dynalites on the front of the Charger. Been over a year now and every time I come to a stop it squeals. No problem up until now.   After working on them for days it's clear these are just toys compared to Baer.  The plates are thin, Bolts are small. The finish is weak. Brake cleaner takes it right off.  Just all around cheap stuff...   

I've tried sanding the pads,Sanding the rotors,Anti-squeal junk.   Do a search and many others report the same problem. Figures.

So... I call Wilwood. Stay on hold for over an hour to get cut off and have to leave a message.  No response.   screw em'

Does anyone around here have any knowledge of this problem?  What did you do?   I'm about to pull and cut the rotors and try the "Q" pads.       Personally I'd throw them in the garbage if I could.    This has kept me from the only 2 shows/cruises I've wanted to go to this year.   it's completely ruined my season.

I wonder if EBC  makes pad for them?  I'm using the "yellow stuff" pad on the Viper calipers and the first 100 miles or so they were embarrassingly noisy. But in the instruction they said they would be till they were bedded in.

I did have one issue when I installed them and one caliper was missing the two anti squeal/rattle clips on both ends of the pad ,

look to see if you  might be missing them,

also call summit the will have alot better customer service and can answer questions or problems about Wilwood since they so sell them,


sorry you are having problems , they are a lower brand as far as costs ,but I have had no issues with them,bummer for ya missing those shows :-\

I have had the same opinion of Wilwoods , they are ok , But lighter cheaper products .
 no solutions , sorry

I'm running billet DynaPro calipers on 11.75 rotors on the front of my car.  Haven't put that many miles on it (maybe 75 miles), but no squeals or anything.  I don't remember what pads I got but it was what a Wilwood tech recommended for a cast iron rotor.  I don't have the part# for the pads on me, but I can get them if you'd like.

I was thinking maybe they got glazed, but you said you sanded the pads and rotors.  How thick are the rotors? Could they be turned? ...and maybe fly cut the pads?  I thought Wilwood's kit's for the E-Body's (and I assume the Charger as well) were pretty much a drag racing brake setup (thin rotors .8" thick if I remember right, etc).  Is there a chance you over heated them?  If they didn't squeal before and now they are, it seems like there must have been a change in the composition of the pads/rotors.  Are both of the fronts squealing?

It depends who you get.  I bought a used SSBC kit from a guy who got it from them (marketed under their name) and the first guy basically was little to no help.  After looking elsewhere including SSBC (no returned calls at first)  I tried summit again and the second guy was a huge help.  Although in the end they needed a month to get me the parts I needed....I finally tried SSBC direct again and AWESOME customer service this time.

So just keep trying wilwood IMHO.  Direct to the manufacturer is always best.

Got the rotors cut. New pads.  Followed the bedding process exactly...   They still squeal. Get this sh!t off my car...   :walkaway:

aren't the dynalites for drag racing only?  Also, while yes the Wilwoods are probably not as nice as the Baer brakes.   They are a 1/4 of the price.
