Fast Food cost!
« on: June 12, 2013 - 10:27:40 AM »
Has anyone else noticed that the cost of fast food is getting outragious?  I do not eat fast food much but went to Wendy's the other day as I was in a hurry . . . ordered a spicy chicken combo and a small chili and it was almost 10 dollars!    :eek4:    ARE YOU KIDDING ME??

Typically if I am going to eat that crap, I will use a coupon if available.  Another expensive one is Arby's . . . . easy to drop 10 bucks there as well . . . . Could of gone to the buffet for just over 7 dollars and had all you can eat!   :screwy:

That's why I'll eat off the dollar menu or go to Taco Bell!! For 10 bucks at Taco Bell, you can stuff your face and have left overs!  :2thumbs:

I don't know . . . some of the food on the dollar menu worries me . . . . someone told me the other day that I do not want to know what is in the dollar chicken sandwich at Wendy's or McDonalds . . . . Taco Bell is also getting expensive . . . tacos used to be 50 cents . . .  now they are pushing $1.20 . . . funny some Taco Bell's are more expensive than others . . . .  :screwy:

Dave, you're a good sized fellow but when I stop at Taco Bell two steak soft tacos al fresco with a Mountain Dew always fills me just right - lunch or supper.

Lately i've been frequenting Subway as it's across the street (due east) from where I work. Breakfast can be either a six (or twelve depending on how hungry I am) inch flatbread with white egg, extra bacon, lettuce, and tomato. Lunch is a six inch flatbread with grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato, spinach, black olives.

I will eat Arby's anytime but yes they're expensive here in Alabama as well. Hardees Thickburger is a treat as well. Seven oh two for the Mushroom Swiss with large fry...
