2014 Cuda?
« on: June 15, 2013 - 12:25:57 AM »
News of a possible revival the the Cuda, even under the Dodge tag, brought a smile to my face as I've been in mourning ever since I sold my 73.  However, most of the pics I've seen look to be a slight cosmetic make-over of the current Challenger and not as distinguishable from a dozen or so other "modern" cars on the road. I was hoping that they'd really go retro. Here's my idea of how I'd like it to look. 1st pic is original "concept car", second is my modified look.

There is no Cuda coming out anytime soon.  There was some talk about it, but it got pushed way back now.

There is a slimmed down Challenger coming out that Ralph said "Went under the knife pretty seriously".  And a Supercharged Hemi.  But that's it for a while.

And all pictures coming out are pure fantasy, nothing real.

Yeah I agree. It wouldn't show up for at least 2 years. Not sure if either of you subscribe to Motor Trend, but in the July issue on page 16, which featured a short interview with the head of the SRT department, it mentioned that hes betting it would be released around 2016 along with the Alfa Romero 5 series.
