My 73 Barracuda came with both white side stripes and the white side moldings according to the fender tag, and both are on the car today.  Not sure if this changed by year or if what's on there now is a replacement (looks old enough to be original), but mine are the 'rubbery' versions that attach via adhesive, no posts or clips.  As relatively unchanged as this car is I would lean towards these being the original moldings but can't be sure.  When the car gets repainted i don't plan on putting them back on as I don't think they look that attractive and don't work with the stripes all that well.  Just my .02.

Do you have close up pictures you can share?
